John Jaramillo has been a professional performer since 1983 touring nationally and internationally. During this time he has performed and taught at theatres, festivals, art centers, colleges, universities and schools throughout the United States and Europe. Performances highlights as principal performer include: Dance Theatre Workshop (NYC), Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors (NYC), International Fringe Festival NYC, American Dance Festival (Durham, N.C.), The Dallas Opera (Dallas, TX), Mark Taper Forum/Ford Theatre (Los Angeles) and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian (NYC). With grant support from the New Mexico Arts Division John produced, co-directed, performed and toured "Old Man Kokopeli" – a theatrical work inspired by his Native American Pueblo Indian heritage.
