"I am once again introducing Aztec cultural items to my 5th grade students, as they are studying this in their Social Studies unit. I was reminiscing with them about your performance last year. You would be proud to know that they remembered several of the drum beats that you taught them. I was quite impressed. It just goes to show that you certainly influence those that have seen you perform and have had the great experience to work with you."

I'm sure the students will never forget this wonderful and creative experience. Participating has given them more confidence in themselves and they will carry it with them. Needless to say, we teachers enjoyed and learned as well!

I wanted to thank you for coming to the Southwest Branch to share Aztec artistry and culture with us! The kids really enjoyed the performance and we all learned a lot from you. Your program was a terrific success, so thank you for making the drive out to our corner of the world. I am looking forward to having you back in the future!

Your presentation at Autrey Mill Middle School was outstanding. The dance, regalia and information you shared provided a perfect introduction to Latin American studies for our sixth graders. Thank you!!!

Thank you for enriching the Chattanooga community with such a valuable arts experience that will not soon be forgotten. You amazed us with your talent and professionalism both in the schools and public performances. It was a pleasure and honor to work with such an excellent ambassador for your (Native American) culture and the arts, and we hope to work you again soon.

John worked exceptionally well with students and provided them an opportunity to experience art, music and dance through the Native American culture. His opening assembly was very interactive and allowed for audience participation. He was very organized and disciplined when working with students. The culminating activity of drumming and dance allowed students to share their performance-based learning with parents, peers, and community members.
John is one of the best artists I have ever had work with students!

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your presentation at the Social Studies Convention in Athens (GA) a couple of months ago. I was sitting down in yet another technology class and flipping through the brochure when I saw that your class was being offered! I jumped up and ran there as fast as I could. I was not sorry that I did. What you demonstrated is what social studies is to me. I loved watching you and taking in everything that you offered the senses. Please send me a note if you will be demonstrating nearby again. I would love the opportunity to learn more. I have to say that I am very envious of what you do.
A fan,
